Black Creative is looking for an iOS app designer with Invision Studio experience or experience with a similar rapid, animated prototyping tool. We’re looking for someone to come in and design an onboarding flow and redesign our current, game-like, user experience for our newest mobile application for Gen Z and young millennials. We anticipate the designs for these two flows to take 15 screens, give or take.
This is a contracting job. We will pay up for anyone who can:
- Showcase a portfolio of 1-2 beautiful interface designs and/or animated prototypes from previous work
- Implement young, fun, Snapchat-like, Tinder-like, HQ Trivia-like designs quickly
- Create an animated prototype quickly
- Build simple, clean and intuitive ui
While we cannot publicly reveal the unique details of the new, social experience we are building, as we hinted at previously, aesthetically, we are looking for something closely inspired by the designs of Snapchat, Tinder, and HQ Trivia. For our users, the rush of our core user experience is so fun, we want an app design that compliments it by feeling and looking fun, colorful, and game-like (i.e. HQ Trivia, Candy Krush). At the same time, we must appeal and feel familiar to Gen Z and young millennials, so we need the app to look clean, and simple (i.e. Instagram, Snapchat, Tinder). To this effect, we like the way Snapchat tastefully uses fun pops of color to create game-like undertones within a very clean and simple ui (although their ux is absolute trash). We also like how an app like Tinder does a good job featuring colorful, communicative text and images in a crisp and easy to understand user interface. In general we are huge fans of rounded corners, meaningful uses of color and animation, and gradient accents used in a variety of ways.
Thanks for considering us and we hope you’ll apply!
