Content Writer (Full Time – Dayshift | AU)

  • Full Time 40 Hours per week role

We are looking for a brilliant Content Writer to research, write, proofread and publish online contents for Marketing and engagement purposes. You will oversee the production of engaging quality content that speaks to our target audience and boosts engagement with our brand.

Content Writer responsibilities include producing the newsletters, fact-checking writers’ articles and optimizing written pieces to increase user engagement. If you have excellent writing and editing skills in English and have ample experience managing editorial calendars, we’d like to meet you.


  • Manage the source and publication of blog posts and marketing copy to promote our services
  • Proofread, re-structure and edit articles by content writers
  • Research, innovate and come up with interesting trends and topics related to the industry
  • Update the company’s website, including its Social Media pages with new contents
  • Create and send out the newsletters
  • Come up with good concepts for design and illustration for the written copy
  • Conceptualize highly creative and useful topics for articles and other written materials
  • Conduct interviews with clients, candidates and workmates for feature articles and studies
  • Work with a Designer (if needed) to achieve image or design concept appropriate for the contents
  • Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
  • Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely postings
  • Research for new ideas around industry-related topics
  • If possible, monitor web traffic and user engagement
  • Manage a team of writers to deliver required articles/copies intended for various online channels
  • Ensure a steady flow of great contents from the writers
  • Assist in other branding and marketing collateral required for the company – brochures, info packs


  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer or similar role
  • Portfolio of published work
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Journalism or Communications Degree or any related educational background is a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity with SEO and keyword research
  • Creative, imaginative and resourceful
  • Abreast with trends relevant to achieving great traffic thru powerful contents
  • Good at meeting deadlines
  • High level of leadership and management skills
  • Business savvy with an insight
  • Tech savvy with a knack for finding helpful tools or software to make the process easy
